My Pet Boris app stands out as the scariest iPhone app available. It takes inspiration from Jim Pace's magic trick called "The Web," where a spider mysteriously appears on the back of the spectator's hand. As a result, this app elicits incredible reactions.

The app incorporates the concept of "Augmented Reality," merging real-life objects with computer-generated graphics to create an authentically frightening effect.

<h2>The Magic Spider Effect</h2>

This trick involves taking a photo of the spectator's palm in order to secretly load a plastic spider onto the back of their hand. Next, you place the phone on their palm for them to hold.

As they watch, an Australian Redback spider (commonly known as a black widow) known as "Boris" crawls onto the screen. The spectator can even feel the vibrations as it walks. You can interact with the spider by tapping the screen or sliding your finger over it to simulate scratching its back. Eventually, Boris walks off the screen.

You then inform them that waving their hand over the phone's screen will make the spider reappear, and it does.

When you ask them to wave their hand over the phone, they catch a glimpse of a realistic spider clinging to the back of their hand, causing them to react with shock and surprise.

This trick is guaranteed to generate significant reactions.

The finger tone and size can be adjusted to match your own, or you can import an image of your own finger. Additionally, you have the option to customize the start-up screen according to your performance style. You can use a photo of their hand, a solid white background, or any image from your library.

Please note that performing this trick requires a plastic spider or cockroach and adhesive dots. You should be able to find these locally or purchase them from our website.

<h2>The Magic Butterfly Effect (In-App Purchase for Professional Magicians)</h2>

The Magic Butterfly is an additional effect included within the Magic Spider - My Pet Boris App. It can be enabled through an "in-app purchase" for approximately US$2.99, depending on your local currency. The custom finger feature is also unlocked when you purchase the butterfly effect.

This routine is perfect for those times when you want to perform a beautiful effect specifically for a little girl or woman. It ends with leaving her in awe of a magical gift. It will generate reactions similar to the Magic Spider effect, but without the scare factor.

Presentation:

The magician creates a grand illusion, right in the palm of the spectator's hand. A tiny foil-covered "Magical Egg" is placed on the spectator's palm and then photographed. The phone is then placed on their hand.

The egg transforms into a chrysalis and eventually into a butterfly. The magician's finger is seen tickling the virtual butterfly on the screen, prompting it to fly away. Using a magical gesture, the magician briefly brings back the butterfly before it flies off again.

Next, the spectator is asked to try and make the butterfly return. However, when they attempt to do so, they find a matching butterfly (located in an impossible location) on the back of their hand. To add to the surprise, the original foil egg has vanished.

The Magic Spider effect can be enhanced with a torn card corner revelation as a grand finale.
